We are located just north of Richmond Virginia but services wherever our couples want to get married. We believe that the connection between the couple and the planner is more important than location.
YES, YES, YES we do! We love to travel and would be honored to help you plan your destination wedding.
We offer Event Management services – which is a little more than just “day of”. This package begins 60 days prior to your event. We gather all the hard work you have completed leading up to your big day. Having this information will give us a good understanding of the overall feel and design you are going for. We then contact all your vendors to coordinate and develop a detailed timeline to ensure that your day runs smoothly. All this work happens prior to your actual wedding day. Our philosophy is that we want to be just as prepared as you are for your big day and with that takes preparation.
We contract for services up to 12 hours on your wedding day. We want to make sure all the little things are taken care of before the start of your ceremony.
This is a great question! This has yet to happen, but if it does, we have assistant planners who can jump in. All of our team members are involved in each event and our timelines are so detailed that all the information needed for your day is there. We got you!

Our business opened its doors the summer of 2020. We hit the ground running and completed 14 weddings our first year. Our love for our couples has pushed our growth and we are so thankful for each and every one that we meet.
Currently we are only servicing one wedding per day.
From Lynne: This is a great question and one I get a lot. When I was younger, I was always sitting at the table creating something from nothing. I wanted to make the world beautiful. I became a nurse over 20 years ago because I had a heart with love to give and wanted to help people. After stepping away from bedside nursing in 2020 my heart felt empty! I pulled on my love for design and my heart full of love and created Elegant Moments Weddings and Events.
There are so many aspects of being a wedding planner that I love. Sometimes it’s hard to choose just one. If I had to choose one, it would have to be the relationships that I build with my couples. Planning a wedding is a very personal adventure and reflects the two of you. The planning process requires trust and at the end of it creates friendship… That is what I treasure most.

YES! We are a fully licensed and insured wedding planning company.

We require a 30% deposit along with a signed contract to hold your date.
We feel that every couple deserves to benefit from having a planner. We offer a variety of payment plans to fit everyone’s budget. We just require that the balance is paid one month before the wedding date.
